Spray on fire protection

Viper Heat Blocking Gel is used to prevent fire or heat damage when using an open flame around wood, drywall, fabric and other components. It can also be used as a heat dissipating gel when protecting sensitive components in low temperature soldering applications. For high temperature brazing, soldering or welding it's recommend to use Viper Heat Blocking Putty. This water based formulation will not produce any toxic fumes or harmful chemical by-products. Clean-up is easy, just wipe off with a clean rag.

Directions for use

1. Turn off or disconnect all power.
2. Shake well. Spray a thick layer of gel onto components and all surrounding areas that may come in contact with direct flame or heat transfer.
3. Solder, or Weld. Use low flame and flow nitrogen for added protection.
4. Allow surfaces to cool or spray additional gel on heated surfaced to cool faster.
5. Wipe off gel.
6. All done!
