Integrated 3-Phase Voltage Monitoring and 150kA Surge Protection for 208VAC HVAC/R Equipment
The ICM Controls 3VMS-60-208 combines a programmable 3-phase line voltage monitor and a Type 1/Type 2 surge protective device into a single, easy-to-install solution for 208VAC three-phase HVAC/R equipment. Designed for residential and commercial applications, it helps protect motors, controls, and other electrical components from damaging power conditions, including overvoltage, undervoltage, phase loss, phase reversal, phase imbalance, and power surges.
During operation, the 3VMS-60-208 continuously monitors incoming line voltage and provides ongoing surge protection. When voltage conditions remain within programmed limits, the onboard 60A contactor energizes the connected equipment. If an abnormal voltage condition is detected, the contactor opens to disconnect the load and automatically restores power once conditions return to an acceptable range. Programmable voltage-monitor settings allow customization when needed, while the integrated surge protection module suppresses surge events and features a diagnostic LED that indicates protection status.
