Description
RectorSeal 45311 AC Leak Freeze - 1.5oz
Stop leaks permanently. For large refrigeration systems 1 - 6 tons.
AC Leak Freeze is the ideal product for A/C unit repair and refrigeration repair. AC Leak Freeze will stop leaks of refrigerant gas in HVACR air conditioning and refrigeration systems in homes and commercial buildings. AC Leak Freeze ensures that the A/C repair or refrigeration repair permanently seals leaks. It is formulated to not harm A/C Refrigeration components.
Once applied, AC Leak Freeze will stay in your system in a suspended state indefinitely until it mixes with any refrigeration gas. At that point, it is activated by refrigerant escaping at the site of the leak, forming a chemical weld and sealing the leak. If for any reason the refrigerant must be reclaimed, AC Leak Freeze will be reclaimed with it, and will need to be reapplied with the new refrigerant.
AC Leak Freeze is compatible with all standard refrigerants. It's polymer-free, tested to be non-clogging to the A/C compressor and recovery unit — it's a permanent fix. The syringe injection for direct injection by hand. Recommended for use in older, low pressure R22 air conditioning systems.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Permanently seals leaks in appliance and refrigeration systems
- Ideal for preventive maintenance and leak protection
- Revitalizes A/C & refrigeration systems by permanently sealing small, hard-to-find micro leaks
- Infuse by hand into system through standard 1/4" service port using adapter (available here)
- Suitable for use in copper and aluminum coils
- Non-clogging to compressors, recovery units, Schrader valves, cap tubes, TXV valves, micro channels, evacuation equipment, and gauges
- Not activated by oxygen or moisture
- Compatible with all refrigerants
- Does not contain polymers
Instructions for Use:
- Turn on the unit. The compressor and unit must be operating at full power.
- Unscrew the cartridge cap and connect 1/4" adapter to cartridge.
- Connect the special adapter and push out the air contained in the transparent nose while the system continues to run.
- Choose application based on pressure:
IMPORTANT: Do not attach to the high side of the AC system. - Low pressure (40psi and under): Simply push AC Leak Freeze in with the syringe plunger.
- Med-High pressure (80psi and under): Place the syringe in a standard caulk gun and slowly ratchet AC Leak Freeze into the system.
- High pressure (above 80psi): Pump down the system to reduce pressure on the low side and/or service port.
- Connect the adapter to the low-pressure port of the AC system and inject contents.
- Disconnect the cartridge from the AC or refrigerant system.
- If necessary, charge the system.
- Allow at least 30 minutes for the repair to take place with the system running.
