'Keep HVAC Local' Hat Sales Benefit the GRIT Foundation
WorkHero has launched the Keep HVAC Local campaign to raise money for the GRIT Foundation and show support for locally owned HVAC businesses.
The campaign features a classic tan Carhartt cap embroidered with the words "Keep HVAC Local." The hat costs $37, and WorkHero will donate every dollar of profit from each sale, approximately $5 per hat, to the GRIT Foundation.
About the Keep HVAC Local campaign
WorkHero provides back-office support for small HVAC businesses. Its services include paperwork, billing, payroll, permitting, and other administrative work that can take business owners away from customers and field operations.
The Keep HVAC Local campaign reflects the company’s belief in supporting small HVAC businesses and the people who work in the trade.
Purchasing a hat gives contractors, technicians, and other HVAC professionals a visible way to share that message while contributing to workforce development.
Introducing young people to skilled trades
The GRIT Foundation offers hands-on programs that introduce young people ages 12–17 to HVAC and other skilled trades.
During GRIT camps and workshops, participants use tools, work alongside industry professionals, and learn what skilled-trade careers involve. The programs give students an opportunity to explore career options that may not receive much attention in traditional classrooms.

Money raised through Keep HVAC Local hat sales will help the foundation provide more of these learning opportunities.
How to support the campaign
Visit the Keep HVAC Local website to purchase a hat. Every purchase helps the GRIT Foundation introduce more young people to careers in the skilled trades.
