Description

Ace Power Flush II Lineset Cleaning Kit for up to 4 Ton Systems

Cleans and saves linesets after conversions and compressor burn outs

ACE® POWER FLUSH® II is formulated with Dupont Vertrel™ Solvent and is used to clean air conditioning and refrigeration systems and line sets after compressor burn-outs, prior to a refrigerant retro-fit or in preparation of a new installation. One can will clean a system up to 4 tons or 1-2 line sets subject to line configuration and contamination level.

Complete kit combining ready-to-use, pre-pressurized can containing non-flammable, ozone friendly, non-toxic flushing compound and injection hose assembly. ACE Power Flush® II Kit is designed to flush HVAC/R systems after compressor burn-outs and during retrofits/oil changes. Ideal for "saving" linesets for 410A conversions. Non-residual solvent safe for use with all oils and refrigerants.

Directions for Use:

  1. Establish one end of the line set as the injection point. The other end of the line set will be the exit point. To provide for longer contact time and better cleaning, simply crimp the line slightly at the exit point. Place a waste container at the exit point.
  2. Connect the Injection Tool to Power Flush Aerosol can; do not over tighten. Attach the ACE Flush Gun to the charging hose and connect the other end of the hose to the 1/4" flare fitting on the Injection Tool.
  3. Inject directly into the line set in 20–30 second bursts for every 50 feet of line set.
  4. Immediately purge the line with compressed nitrogen set at 110 psi to ensure maximum cleaning. Check the waste container to see if liquid is running clear. If contamination is still present, repeat process.
  5. As soon as liquid is clear, pull vacuum to remove any residual solvent.
  6. Line set is clean and ready for service.

Flushing after Burnouts: Flush system in sections. Switch off power and then disconnect the compressor (Never flush the compressor itself). Disconnect or by-pass TXV's and capillary tubes. Remove filter drier core. Restrict the outlet point and then place a container below the outlet point to catch all waste material. Connect the Injection Tool to Power Flush Aerosol can; do not over tighten. Attach the ACE Flush Gun to the charging hose and connect the other end of the hose to the 1/4" flare fitting on the Injection Tool. Next inject directly into line set. Use one can per 4 ton system. Immediately purge the line with compressed nitrogen set at 110 psi to ensure maximum cleaning. Check the waste container to see if liquid is running clear. If contamination is still present, repeat process. DANGER: Do NOT connect the Ace Power Flush II to the nitrogen purge. As soon as liquid is clear, pull vacuum to remove any residual solvent. Leak check the system and, if satisfactory, add oil and refrigerant. Otherwise, make necessary repairs before adding refrigerant and oil.

Caution: Ace Power Flush II is pre-pressurized. Do NOT connect to nitrogen purge.
