Installed CO Alarms
Installed carbon monoxide (CO) alarms provide continuous, fixed monitoring of carbon monoxide levels in homes and buildings. Unlike portable detectors, installed CO alarms are designed to be permanently mounted and powered for long-term protection near fuel-burning appliances, mechanical rooms, and occupied living spaces.
Low-level CO alarms help detect carbon monoxide at concentrations well below those that trigger standard UL-listed residential alarms, giving earlier awareness of potential combustion issues. Commonly used by HVAC professionals, contractors, and homeowners, installed CO alarms are an important part of identifying unsafe conditions related to furnaces, boilers, water heaters, and other fossil-fuel-burning equipment.
