These low cost, non-adjustable, temporary construction thermostats are preset to a given temperature. iO Temp-Stats can be used in numerous HVAC applications where a non-adjustable thermostat is required. They are most commonly used to prevent excessive energy waste caused by trades people turning up or down a conventional thermostat. Additionally, iO Temp-Stats are used as temporary devices that can withstand dust, plaster, spackle, paint and other contaminants during construction. This allows the permanent thermostat to be installed after the construction work is completed.

iO Temp-Stats are creep action, nonadjustable thermostats with conductive bimetal construction that have gold diffused contacts for low internal resistance. Temp-Stats are available for both heating and cooling applications. Each Temp-Stat is metal encapsulated and protected by an outer PVC jacket. Temp-Stats are electro mechanical switches for low voltage applications of less than 1Amp @ 24VAC. They are not NOT a resistive load or sensor.
