Swaging

Swaging tools, also known as tube expanders, are used to expand the end of copper tubing so another tube can be inserted directly inside. This allows technicians to create brazed joints without additional fittings, helping reduce restrictions within the line set. Expanded tubing is commonly joined using brazing equipment to form strong, permanent connections in HVAC and refrigeration applications.
