This drill bit is specially designed for installing test ports in sheet metal on HVAC systems. The 3/8" diameter drill bit features a milled stop that limits tip insertion to 5/16". This protects internal system components from damage while providing a clean hole. The bit also features a 1/4" quick-change hex shank for use with a wide variety of drills and drivers. Included with the bit are 25 hole plugs that are easily removed for testing during future visits.
