Flaring

Flaring tools are used to create leak-resistant flare connections on copper tubing in HVAC and refrigeration systems. Properly formed flares allow secure mechanical joints when attaching tubing to fittings, valves, and service ports. To ensure consistent results, tubing is typically cut square using tube cutters and bent into position with tubing benders before the flare is formed.
